  1. I would like to write a review on the love triangle between the characters of the 1st and 2nd books of the Shatter Me trilogy by Tahereh Mafi.

    1. Melissa, I sent you an e-mail on Dec 1st to remind you of our Dec. 17th deadline for this issue. It never came back, so I assume you got it. When you missed the deadline, I sent you another notification extending the deadline and asking if you still want to participate. Please get back to me soon, so I know if I have to fill your spot. (Email is femnista at charitysplace.com. Thanks!)

  2. Hello, Charity!

I’m a friend of Katie Hanna and Rachel Kovaciny and I’ve wanted to write for Feminista for a long time! So here are my submissions for some of the 2019 themes. πŸ™‚

For the Spies issue I’d like to write about season one of the TV show, Agent Carter.

For Favorite Historical Figures I’d like to write about Eric Liddell

For Dystopian I’d like to write about Nadine Brandes’ book A Time to Die

And for Favorite Creator, Favorite Story I’d like to write about Louisa May Alcott and one of her characters (instead of one of her books) – Daniel Kean. If writing about a character instead of one of her books isn’t allowed, then I’d like to write about Christopher Nolan and his film Batman Begins.

Thanks so much for this opportunity!

    1. Hey, Eva! Those sound like great topics! The last one is fine; I just want a ‘favorite’ thing from a ‘favorite’ creator — a character totally works. πŸ™‚ Since I can’t see an e-mail address for you (as you’re a wordpress user), would you mind sending me an e-mail (femnista@charitysplace.com) so I have it? I send out reminders for articles two weeks ahead. Thanks!

  3. I would like to do an article on this topic for July/Aug: Dystopian & Alternate History.
I will cover the first book in the Blackcoat Rebellion series by
    Aimee Carter.

P.S. Is the date on the article due date correct for this theme or is it earlier? I want it to be at least a day ahead of schedule for next time.
